Not a bad price, depending on what they call reconditioned.Wonder if there's some sort of warranty with them.

Kenny

The text says 30 days warranty parts and labor.

The word "reconditioned" is very subjective. Could mean anything. I would find out exactly what it means before buying a machine. It could mean the machine was plugged in and works and cleaned up or anything else the seller wants it to mean.

There is a competitor here that describes his machines as "rebuilt". Just what does rebuilt mean? To me "rebuilt" means the machine has been taken apart and bearings, seals, pump, belt etc has been replaced with new. I know you cannot truly rebuild a machine and make any money on it. Be careful of these adjectives. Ask questions.

Same thing here,Fixerman. Years ago some one was selling "rebuilt" appliances from a storefront. When I asked them what they "rebuilt",they said they replaced whatever parts were needed. That's a far cry from rebuilding.More likely plug it in,and if it does what it needs to do,it's out front for sale. Most places wouldn't even check defrost systems in refrigerators,or even clean out the condenser.
