Jimmy (Filter Flo) held an estate sale this weekend. Knowing what a Frididaire fan I am he was kind enough to call and let me know that there was a Frigidaire Gold Crown dryer in the basement. He held it for me and........
It's now in my basement.

Everything works, just a little rust from being in a dark damp basement for 40 years. I actually heard it scream for joy when I took it out into the daylight

It's a late '60's Gold Crown Automatic. Just needs a little clean up and TLC.
Thanks Jimmy.

Jimmy,
I too am a large Frigidaire fan. I would appreciate if you could keep me in mind for any Frigidaire finds in the future. I have a 60 Frigidaire Custom Imperial dryer that needs a mate!
I have been looking for a 60 Frigidaire Custom Imperial washer for over 5 years! I really love your 60 Frigidaire set. I will pay top dollar for most Frigidaire machines. I love "clamsells" and anything poppy! I would be truely grateful for your help!

Nice dryer - I had this model in gold and it was one of the most accurate automatic cycles I've ever used in a temp-sensing dryer. You'll love how soft your clothes come out with the lower air-flow. Congrats and hopefully the matching washer will come your way soon!

Nice. That thing just looks like a workhorse!
