Just thought some of you people might be interested in this:

Review of a British 2-drum washing machine. The drum's basically split in half and can rotate each half can rotate in opposite directions creating a rather unique wash action!

Also linked below

It has a really huge capacity for a machine that's a standard European unit size.
7KG load.

Mrx, I guess you missed the latest news about Dyson. They terminated the production of this machine. There is a thread about it on the Super Forum (1826).

rip and tear washing action?

IMHO.......

Don't know why, but my instict says that this would have ripped articeles of clothing and larger articles (like sheets) that got caught between he tubs and vanes (That move in opposite directions) along that yellow line/seam.

So much for the Kenmore (or was it in Whirpool's too?) Golden-gobbler agiator that had no base. Seems it may have had a new rival.

Steve, the two tubs locked together and tumbled in one direction for large item loads.

Yes, according to Sears' advertisement on the "golden-gobbler", your clothes were spanked clean.

It still appears on the Dyson Website

The CR02 still appears to be available according to the Dyson website.

Now I would imagine some people like the idea of spanking....but associating the concept with cleaning, that is a new one on me.. LOL

How does the "Allergy" machine work and get its approval? Zillions of rinses?

Funny how our American T/L water-hogs with one 25-gallon (100 litre)rinse propbly equals 5 asko F/L 5-gallon rinse (20 litre)

Allergy Rinse

The allergy rinse has about 6 different rinses.
