Hey guys! You guys have seen the Westinghouse washer video by now I'm sure. I need your help though. I have the matching dryer and it needs a new belt. The model numbers for the machines are: Washer - LA495P Dryer - DE500P Perhaps someone knows when these washers were made and what belt my dryer would need? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! Finally got the new belt for the dryer today. Got the dryer all opened up. The original belt was surprisingly more narrow than the new one. It was original and was just a little stretched from decades of use. Got the new one on there and it works like a charm! BTW, the original belt was a Westinghouse named part but also had "Uniroyal" on it. Kinda cool. It did provide quite a bit of mileage. :-) Thanks again for the help on finding the right belt. Jon |
