Its been almost a year and a half since my wonderful Kelvinator went on the blink. A nice warm spring day here finally gave me the energy to attempt a disassemble on the mechanism, which I knew nothing about.......The boot in the outer tub had split, along with a leaky pump and bad lid hinges. With some good advice from Greg N, one full day of work got it all working! Did three loads in it, whites, darks, and bed sheets as the following pics show it seems to be fine. What a relief to know its working again.......

Congratulations on the Kelvy's recovery. Those machines are really something special.
