I'm really starting to miss having a top loader, being able to keep the lid open, watching it fill wash and spin. I love my Frigidaire FL, but would like to have a TL as well. I also like the sounds of a mechanical timer, instead of just pushing a few buttons.

It's nice to have a Top Loader as an auxiliary machine especially for soaking laundry and nasty dirty stuff. There's nothing like a GE lint filter when you're washing the dog's delicates and lingerie.

I know what you mean, for all-around fun, you just can't beat a TL. How about a Center-dial 'Tag?? They're fun, and not too hard to find on Craigslist.

Up in Waterloo, check out thread active thread, 18443 "lightening the Load"

70's Wards/Norge

How do you control the water level? Nice looking machine for a BOL machine.

I would really like the harvest gold Maytag's that are spoken for :-(
