I'm with Mike on the Haier suggestion (especially the dispener), though I did think the Haier's I've seen look rather like Bosch clones anyway - I wonder if they are licensed productions? |

thanks Jed and thanks heaps for your feedback guys=] haha Gizmo i have no idea about the ECO programme ive only used heavy duty and quick wash but we will just have to find out. but yeah it was in kmart for $399 and it got discontinued b4 i could pay it off. so wasn't too happy about that. haha yeah SeamusUK my mum has the same kind of machine to you yeah hoover zodiac's r good but i still think my old whirlpool aqualine was the best for some fun especialy when the concret came out and i pulled of 1 of 4 springs =P im trying for videos but my phone microphone is brokiee and who wants a video without sound:P and my mums cam takes up heaps of space but ill try. i might have to email it all to you individually:) no probs. nah ive had no problems wiyth it yet. the tumble start up is instant with tells me its strong and when it has a suds lock it doesnt stop and it doesnt slow down a bit so i take it the motor is really strong:) im so happy. i found my new bf (a keeper) not only that but he always creates like 2 or 3 loads a day so im pretty happy with that:) anyway thats it for now take it easy and thanks again xx |

I've seen Beko (from Turkey) machines, on sale in the UK, and they too looked very like Bosch machines. Is the door indentation tear-drop shaped, albeit lying side on? |

i havent used it yet. but i dont think its anything fancy. i know the machine has two wash speeds cos as it fills it rolls the clothes and its slow as but when its filled it keeps rolling but then you here a loud click and its a really fast wash. say normal tumbing is 1 and hoover distribute is 10. the ONIX is 6 so its pretty fast. every third tumble the clothes sometimes dont drop but it washes beautiful. id imagine the super soft cycle is slow all the way and doesnt spin until the end |

FAB.... I have wondered about these machines for months now. Aldi also get them in their 'weekly specials' for about $399. It is made in China, but then so many of our machines here are not what we expect. -many of our 'European' Whirlpool front loaders are chinese. -Many of the Bosch machines in Australia come out of Thailand - the old Hitachi factory. -as do many Electrolux -the basic $299.00 Miele vaccuum cleaner comes from China (don't faint).... Still, I loved my Hoover Electra 550...a fantastic machine that is now 14 years old and going strong at a mates house...it makes a lovely 'thrum thrum thrum' sound when washing and has a proper distribution before spinning....50min maximum cycle time... |
