It came with the instruction book aswell. Have just tried it and it works very well, no nasty noises. All I need now is matching washing machine. Any body help on that one?

Hi there, your new dryer looks amazing, even has the vent hose, congratulations. That range of hoover washers and dyers is one of my favorites. One of my teachers from school had the same dryer and matching 1100 washer stacked in her kitchen, always thought they looked very classy. My dads friend had the dishwasher from that range up untill the late 90's.

great one Bjorn - the D6042 looks great!!!!
in fantastic condition.

Here are the three machines, which it matched, to wet your appetite for a matching washing machine a bit further.

really pleased for you and it.
cheers
Paul
p.s the A3060 is from a Family Circle advert from 1979. The image of the A3062 and A3064 are renditions i did, created by adapting the image of the A3060 - hence why the Keymatic and Selectamatic look a bit less real that the A3060. Visually though, they are accurate.

Thanks for the piccies Paul, really would like any of those machines. Nan used to have the 800 spin version that looked like the A3060 but with 2 buttons.
If any of you guys find one of these machines, or have one that you nedd a good home for let me know!

Wow excellent Bjorn, what a great find, it looks great.....what a nice machine

I think you are not the only person on the look out for a 3060.......

Strange that you and I have similar jobs (im an audio engineer) and both have a passion for the same type of machines

This is a great find and congratulations

Just out of interest i do have a A3350 electron 1100 that you can have if you want, i brought it back from work but havent got the time to finish it, I have done some of the work (suspension kit) etc.

Thanx for the offer Gary, but already have several of that range, including the vented washer dryer!

We must become used to people bringing in old items to be repaired, sort of get used to old machines. Also, i suppose, its because we've seen how poorly made new units are lol!
