Looks like a lot of buttons! I must say, even though I know that we are not supposed to like WCI, those tall black control panels with lots of buttons do look good! Who has this set? |

As much as we hate them, these machines are FUN. My grandparents had a set pretty much just like this at their cabin and I used to LOVE them. It was such a fun washer to watch. |

Now that we've had 28 years to get over the shock/horror of WCI's takeover, I have to admit I'd love to have a circa 1981 Frigidaire set. Cool agitator, lightly indexing tub, Westy-style lint filter (although they spewed foamy suds at the beginning of the rinse cycle, which was annoying...) And I think they still had the full-circle fill, right? |
