Is anyone who lives near me, interested in "Swapping" me of my 1942 to 1944 Maytag Wringer Washer, for a 1950 Maytag "AMP" Washer? I don't really want to get into Shipping Cost's or really even looking into Shipping at all, that is why my offer is being given hopefully to someone who lives close to where I do, here in Sacramento, CA. My Maytag Wringer Washer is Serial #310304Y and it is in pretty good shape, although it hasn't been operated for quite some time now. It has been stored in a Garage or a Storage Shed, since around the Mid-1980's. It was operational the last time I inquired, thru around the Mid-1980's thru my Families Neighbor, who owned it since it was bought new.

Re: Added Offer Item:

I just had an E-Mail from one of the Guy's {name withheld} letting me know as I wrote back to them, that I did feel like maybe my offer was "off-balanced" so I'm going to add another item to my offer, to see what anyone thinks of this addition, but still preferring a more local dealing, without any Shipping involvement "Pick-UP" only, with possibly meeting 1/2 way between where we live.

I'm going to add my 1967 Kenmore Washer/Dryer Combo Unit as well. I hasn't been totally/completely gone over being checked out, but it did run last time I did get to work on it. I'm thinking from what I remember that since it didn't want to Pump the Water out, that knowing how much Lint I took out of the Resivoir under the Drum and out of the Dryer Blower area, the Pump might be full of Lint, or something going on about the Pump Impeller, with no doubt from whomever owned the Unit, before it went to the Shop where I got it from.

Peace and Happy "Spring" Laundry Days, Steve
