Hi,
My mother bought a Phillips front loader in the late 80's. It was a very basic model with only a the selection knob (timer) and a switch for hot or cold.-if the switch was to the left it would not heat the water. If it was to the right it would heat the water according to the cycle. On the left was the soap drawer. it was a brown fascia with orange writing. I cannot remember if it had a brown or a silver door?

If you have any photos of this machine or similar please post them here.

Regards,
Louis
