hello matey well yah never know what is going to turn up, can ask if you got my email about the brown side strips i got from work possibly for your hotpoint

Seamus
To right! ask and ask again, having seen that Mike has a new gaskett for his Keymatic (bow) i was thinking about your Keymatic (bow) needing one of these, christ there must be some somewhere

Someone made a comment about all those Keymatics in the Hoover factory picture, surely they all didnt die and end up on the scrap heap, off subject but in the 1990s some motor bike dealers unearthed a few wharehouses in japan full of old 1970s jap bike classics all unused.........they made a killing on selling them off over here..........sooooooooo you never know in a dark old wharehouse somewhere there might be a load of ..........KEEE bloody MATICS!!!! (bow).....(thinks if he bows enough he might get one)....bow

So yeah good luck Seamus

Paul am i right in thinking that you own the Keymatic shown in the wash in pix at mikes?

Hi Gary.

Sorry - completely forgot that you mentioned sidestrips. I am seeing Rob this evening and will mention them to him - see what we can do.
Ironically tonight I tried to buy some lid sidestrips with the correct round fixing lugs, rather than the oblong ones, but got diatracted.
Only realised what time it was about thirty seconds after the auction ended! majorly pi$$ed off!

Do I/we own that keymatic? mmmmmmm.....in a word.....no.
if only!
no....the machine is owned by a good friend of ours - the bloke who has been the saviour of mine and rob's 18361, 95620 and our newest addition to the collection - the 9560 Microprofile 1300 (see thread in the blue forum).
He is also the bloke who fitted the new suspension cable and door gasket (amongst other things) to Mikes slanted Keymatic over the weekend - he is a truely brilliant and gifted individual.

I will get him to join the forum one day - hopefully soon.

Cheers
Paul
