I recently moved house in Manchester, and this is the machine in my new house, it is a Siemens Siwamat XB 1060 with a 1000rpm Spin. Very Basic Machine.

It washes very well, Often use the Easy Care wash cycle loads due to the high water levels, also use the extra rinsing button to remove all traces of detergent and me itching all the time.

Here are some pics

My detergents

At the moment detergentswise am using Sainsburys Bio Powder, Surf Lavender and Oriental Blossom and fabric conditioners Comfort Blue and Sainsburys Gentle Fabric conditioner.

I love the scent of the Sainsburys Bio Powder, it smells like Old Ariel, has a grassy type scent which is very fresh indeed. It cleans really well and rinses well too.

The Lavender Surf is very good at cleaning and rinsing, I did a load of Teatowels the other day and they came out spotless.

Sainsburys Gentle Softener smells very much like dove soap, which is very nice, softens well and it is very good for my skin, i use this as my daily driver for the softeners and keep the comfort blue for my sheets.

I used to have a crappy hotpoint washer dryer at my old house which took 3 hours to dry your clothes, i'm glad i just have a washing machine now because i have more control over the electricity usage. I line dry all my clothes or they go on the radiator. All of mine and my housemates clothes get washed together and we do all our washes at 30 degrees to save energy

I really like this machine as its very simple to use, a bit too simple as the dial is always set on 30 so my housemates just have to press start and off it goes
