Hey dude, this is a cool dryer. I just began restoration on a speed queen that is almost identical to this one. about the only bad thing about this dryer of mine if that a leaky washroom ceiling had dripped water over the years and pitted the top with small rust holes. Bondo may be required if I can't procure another lid. Wow, what hellacious motors speed queen put in these machines. On an earlier post about a year ago I think, I spoke of selling a guy a dryer like this that would run for 20 minutes and shut down in thermal overload like clockwork but also would restart like clockwork in 12 minutes after cooling down for another 20 minute round. Last I heard this machine has been doing his laundry on a regular basis for going on 3 years now and still kicks out after 20 like clockwork. He knew of this problem when he bought it from me for 20.00. Now ain't he got his moneys worth out of that baby!
