Maytag washer A612 was perhaps a 1985 model. This was around for a few years, so it could have been purchased between 1985 and 1988. The dryer could be anywhere from the mid to late 1980s to early 1990s. Have a good one, James |

My mother bought her set in Aug of 1987 with the same control pannel, which was at the end of the 1986 model year. The Dryer is a generic BOL for that year. My mom bought hers from Brockman's Maytag where they were all on display. To show how gentle the washer is to clothes demonstraited with a small wather level and ballons that did not pop because of the gentle agitation strokes. I always thought that was kind of impressive. This is also the old H drive trans.
