I've been wanting for a while (and needing) to put the 1978 BD Whirlpool washer in a separate building-hooked up on its own-it is sitting in my Dad's tractor shed, collecting dust right now-I'd been thinking a nice 8x12 or even an 8x8 of my own to hook up my washer-or any other washer that exists in the world in it-a building to where it can be hooked up all-year-round instead of only in spring and summer. Any suggestions on what kind of building construction is necessary-and that can handle an off-balance washer thumping across the floor?

no offense

I hope I didn't offend anyone with my post, I was just asking what kind of a building would I need to hook up my washer in, or any washer.

Wash House Suggestion:

Hi! Phillip, I would suggest if they are available in most/all States, a Tuf-Shed. I believe that a couple/few of the Guys have made a Wash House out of them. They are certainly "Tuff" Structures. They would also be the easiest to install Electrical, Gas and Plumbing and they are either Insulated or would be easy to Insulate as well.

Good luck with getting your Wash House Built and in operating condition and to get your 1978 BD Whirlpool Washer working year round for you.

Please keep us Posted as to what you are able to Build, where you live.

Peace and a Happy Thanksgiving, Steve
