Drain and fill...
If it's like my Maytag A50, you hook a hose to the sink faucet and fill it that way. The temp is of course controlled by the faucet. The drain hose on mine either goes to the sink for drainage OR it pokes into the wash tub thru a hole in the top so the soapy water returns from the spin tub to the wash tub for more washing... On the A50, there is a knob that controls a diverter valve so you can choose to drain the wash or spin tub. Your drain hose looks like a generic SSD-6 universal drain hose. The original must have fallen apart or wasn't long enough for the first owner... RCD | ||

Very cool, Dan.. I had one like this that I bought brand new from JCP about 1971. It worked really well. It came with a hose that attached to the faucet for fill. You just put it in the tub like a wringer washer. I used it for about 4 years with no problems. Thanks for the pictures. | ||
