I agree!!! That is a rare Two-Speed Model. Hope someone saves that Coppertone workhorse! We love ours; on the Super speed it really moves the air (great for a long vent run like we have). All porcelain finish plus window to boot!!! Paging Gordon...Paging Dr. Kenmore64!!! Hard to tell but do you think that WP TL is a lighted controls model? Do you have any workplace connections to ship to Charlotte? Robert |

Two air-flow speeds wasn't all that rare on Whirly dryers during a particular period of time back then. Family friends had a mid-lower end control-box model with three temps (hi, low, air), two speeds, and time-only cycles. My paternal grandparents had a Supreme (upper-middle) 2-speeder with variable heat and thermostat auto-dry cycles. These were mid- and late-1960s models. Far as I know, Super speed was normal airflow. Gentle was reduced.

The agitator that is between the blue/white Surgilator, and the gold Rotoswirl is a bit hard to make out. Is it a str8 vane, or Roto Swirl? Thank you in advance. Have a good one, James |
