Inside shot

The drumns on these were huge i remember Filter-flo Jimmy telling me that these din`t have a very long life as the drum bearing worn out early in there usage so most were junked thats why they are hard to find today I can`t understand why general motors never put a light in the drum was that only on the Imperial models ??

Nice, I never see anything good at the Salvation Army Thrift stores here. I did get an Electrolux Model AE there for $5.00. I guess I'm going to have to start looking more often.

Very nice - I've passed up several 1-18 dryers but have always wanted one to try. Does your new "goldie" work?

IIRC, there are no "bearings" per se, but a couple of rollers, which seem to give it up frequently. Nice mo-chine!
