I know I should be going for this, but I also know that I would not survive to see 2009 if I did...
The person selling it says both machines work but the washer is very noisy when spinning. That could just be levelling issue - no?
I am guessing this set is from the mid-70's - I actually had a similar set (less dials and features than this one) in Harvest Gold about 10 years ago. The washer started leaking goop into the water and I scrapped it...

Beautiful set, I wonder if it has a lighted console?

Hey, there's a great excuse for me to go and see it!
The Harvest Gold set I had was un-lighted...

Of course, it's the twenty thousandth thread...

It's a highly LOVED classic washer brand. BTW, does anyone know about a (1968-70's) deluxe Westinghouse washer that had a WHITE porcelain enamel steel washtub.
