I saw the I Love Lucy episode where Lucy and Ricky sold their washer to Fred and Ethel. What brand was the washer?

It was either a Launderall, or a Horton.

Have a good one,
James

It was disguised to be non-descript. They didn't want to antgonize their (appliance-manufacturing) sponsor/advertisor.

I LOVE LUCY didn't have an appliance manufacturer as a sponsor until it became incorporated as THE LUCY-DESI COMEDY HOUR; part of THE DESILU-WESTINGHOUSE PLAYHOUSE. Even so, in the earliest episodes of the hourlong "Lucy" episodes, you saw Hotpoint appliances. I have no idea why.

but you can see it in Robert's "The Washers We Love and More" video on YouTube.

P.S. Robert any chance of a sequel?

Oh, yes, I know she did. I have one of her Westinghouse fridges. But is the washer that was supposed to be a piece of junk a Westinghouse? Would Westinghouse who prided itself on quality ("You can be sure, If it's a Westinghouse"), allow it's washer to be shown making a mess out of Fred and Ethel's apartment spraying water everywhere. Someone on here knows the answer, I'm almost positive I've heard this question before on here. I'm pretty sure it is not a Westinghouse.

The washer in Robert's video

is a rebadged (and deliberately messed-up) Launderall.
