motor

Based on what I've read and seen so far, that motor may fit a number of machines. My replacement was from Emerson Electric, made in Mexico. The motor is literally GLUED together, which it looks this motor is, too. It wouldn't surprise me if the appliance and motor manufactureres have agreed on a "standard" mounting

yes, I too was about to say this could pass as washer/dryer/dishwasher motor.

I think a 1/2 hp is generally a washer and smaller(1/3 and 1/4 HP) are for the two "majors"
