Do these machines have adjustable cycle controls? Can the standard cycle be modified at all? |

Far as I know the cycles are pre-set...4 minutes (2 minute wash, drain, partial fill, drain and 2 minute rinse..) |

Wow, that is quick! Is this one of the dishwashers that is designed to be used with an antiseptic manual rinse as well? I remember having to do that when I volunteered as a teen at a mountain scientific research facility. You might try running some Borax through it. But pehaps better to disassemble it as much as possible to see if there's hidden rot somewhere that needs to be dealt with. Once upon a time I got a free Bosch DW off Craigslist. It had a blown heater relay or something, and the previous owners had been running it off not-hot-enough tap water. Not sure that it ever finished a cycle properly. Anyway, it also had a horrid mold smell (and the mold had actually discolored some of the internal plastic). I finally gave it away on Craigslist to a gent who said it was just for show and it didn't matter if it worked or not. I was glad to see it go. |
