There have so-far been lots of pics of rust-buckets, but these two may be of interest to someone? If so, I can get them here in Charlotte if you want to come get them from me. Just let me know!

Just cause it looks bad does not mean that there might be some potential.. How far is it from Charlotte?

Don't quote me on it - but there is a chance that the dryer is actually a DE-750W (on my Mac it almost looks pink!). The model tag certainly looks like that from an electric and not a gas, possibly making it a water/condenser dryer. But, since it has been out in the elements, who knows what long gone NOS parts it needs. The only way to know for certain is either a pic of the model tag or a picture of the back of the dryer.

With the small access door, I'd say gas.

The tiny 5-pointed star with a blue center (top left corner of door "cutout"/frame) looks to me like a classic/period AGA (American Gas Association) certification.

You guys are right! A better look and I can now see the star vs. the UL label. My bad - or wishful thinking! ;-)

I'll buy the buttons, lint filter, front panel chrome trim strip, and door seal from you on the DE-750 if you can't sell it.
