I checked my racks for rust today.

The repair I did last summer with the POR-15 is holding well.

I will need to touch up a couple of places.

But that's a good sign.

I may start in on the rusty rack rails of my kds-21 next.

What did you use to repair the racks?

There's a product call POR15, a paint. I used that. Recommended elsewhere on this site for washtub touchup etc. They also offer versions with epoxy mixed with it, or so they say on their web site.

I just dabbed it onto the rusty areas where the plastic covering the wires was gone and things were rusty and ugly. I see there's 122 google hits, threads @ AW, on the stuf.
