I found this ad in a 1963 "Saturday Evening Post" that was packed away. Thought everyone might enjoy seeing the ad....

Isn't it fun to find old printed materials with great ads in them? I believe this one pops up as a Picture Of The Day every now and again. Another nice console design from Frigidaire, too.

Ooo, the 63 and early 64 Pulsator is one of the best! Love these mid-sixties GM ads. Thanks for posting.

Love the pot shot at GE's mini-basket system! *LOL*

Great advert!

Thanks for sharing.

The overflow rinse is no joke on these machines. My WCI-63 will rinse for five minutes! My water pressue is so strong here it must change the water in the tub twice before it goes into final spin.

As for Rapidry--------NOT! But its as good as a Maytag so no problem.

IMO the best of both worlds is to take a WCI-66 (that really does have a Rapidry) as shown in a previous thread, and replace the Deep-Action Agitator with a Three-Ring from a '63 or '64. Now THAT is a powerful machine!

Didn't RCA-Whirlpool still have a manual-clean recirulating lint filter at the time? Was it the brush/comb filter?

Yup, I like that agitator a lot as well, I had a NOS one that went into the Super Unimatic...
