Hi - Looks like I might have a leak coming from my LA108 centre-dial Maytag washer. Aside from the fill flume, can anyone help me with tips on what to check and how? I'd be most grateful!

The attachment points for the struts can leak... but you gotta remove the agitator and wash basket to get at them. They have lead washers that apparently need to be tightened from the inside... never done it myself but I've viewed the attachment points from the outside... so far haven't seen any major leaks.

Also check the drain pump etc... Have you removed the front panel to look see?

What's leaking? Water or oil? Where is the general area of the leak, left side, middle, right side, front, or back?
