Anyone have an idea what model year these might be? Found on craigslist in Chicago.
Mark

Electronic Solid State Mark II Series?...

at least that's my guess. Ok, I'm no expert for sure, but I took a look at the WP Museum on the site and found what looks like the same control panel? ALSO, when you go to the Museum take a look at that pic of the agi... it's got those wings (drool) what turnover this gal must make, huh? (more drooling, going to get a tissue LOL). Looks like it could be large capacity BELT drive too. Shipping would be a killer to SC. Someone in Chicagoland has to grab 'em - what a deal if one is local (snif)

My guess is that this set is from 1983 to 1985. I remember the commercials for these when they first came out. There was a picture of the washer in a 1985 issue of Consumer Reports. This washer would have the Double Duty Super Surgilator agitator. I have never seen these in person, but I wish I had.

Have a good one,
James

Here are three panel styles of WP electronic. The Mark II is the machine I brought home recently in Platinum. Beautiful washer - it made Jamie swoon for an entire holiday!
