What the hecks goin on here? One of my favourite hotpoints of all time the 9544! This chaps model spins ANTI clockwise! Which looks so wrong for a 95series to do! My friend had one and it never did spin anti clockwise, so i'm assuming that an indesitcompany timer or something has something to do with this happenin? I've messaged the videos owner awaiting a responce! Heres the link for you to see it!

Well, I'd never thought I'd see anti-clockwise spin in a old Hotpoint lol.

Nice machine of course, but it's just a bit odd seeing it spin the other way round.

I don't know what the Indesit Comapny is playing at lol.

Weird... don't suppose it could be something as simple as the motor poles being switched rather than anything to do with it being an Indesit mod? Seeming as it still has the Hotpoint-style spin cycle?

Yes, it's most likely that something is wired back to front. With the motor being mounted on the right hand side it would be interesting to know if spinning anti-clockwise upsets the balance.

It won't be an Indesit Company timer, as the timers for the 95 series are still supplied by AKO, the original manufacturer.

Eeeeek

Someone needs to sort out their machine or the balancing is going to kill the poor thing.

Watching that is messing with my head, need to watch the correct way for it to go to restore internal balance LOL!

Its predecessor the 95620

Electron1100:
My bosch from 98 spins clockwise, all bosches from the new maxx range onwards spin anti-clockwise!

But this is just odd. a 95series hotpoint! the trademark jumping while spinning the OPPOSITE way! I had one of these hotpoints and its most confusing for the eyes! lol.

Loads of manufacturers used to spin clockwise now spin anti clockwise, i tried finding out why this was, it was something to do with current..i can't remember what..anybody help there?

Darren
