As I posted on the Imperial Forum my partner and I are moving to a new house so I am cleaning out the garage and have a few sets that are up for sale, please let me know if you are interested in this Kitchen Aid set - I prefer local pick up.

Thank you, Jimmyb

Is that an electronic set? And the control panel appears to lighted. Very nice.

The washer has mechanical pushbuttons with a rapid-advance timer like a Maytag A906. Is the dryer like Whirly's LFE-9800 or a DE906, with mechanical pushbuttons but a PC board / electronic control instead of mechanical timer?

I think the dryer has a mechanical timer. At least I can say that one like this that I worked on years ago had a mechanical timer (with rapid advance of course). I think the dryer only needed a new belt but I opened the control panel just to look inside. It was quite complicated looking inside.

Mechanical Timer

Yes it is a mechanical timer with Rapid Advance, I do not think I have ever used the time dry function on it, I have always used the automatic selection.

Thanks, jimmyb
