but what the hell was B&Q Thinking?????

Hotpoint Ultima WT960P £399
Hotpoint Aquarious WT541P and Aquarious Washer/dryer WD420P
are £349, Same as a silver indesit 1400.

but this is where the bad pricing really shows,

Zanuzzi 1000 rpm built in washing machine with on/off switch and quick wash as option, £599

where as underneath the AEG Lavamat built in washing machine had so many options and 1400 spin!!!!, also for £599.

Pics will be on as soon as i can.

also on the zanussi 1000

the machine is so old that the dial/timer are mechanical.

Me Thinks

Like every other e-tailer they are busy changing / updating their models / prices....me and Seamus have been having conversations the last week about all the new price increases, WoW...!!!

The Hotpoint WT960 is a well discontinued model, old stocks only if you can find any, if you look at the detail for the model number its a WMD960A, they have used an old pic of the WT960.....

Most manufacturers are having between 5 & 15% increase across the board...the biggest I have ever known, all due to trading conditions exchange rates / cost of production / steel prices etc....Grab yourself a bargain while you can!!!Watch this space.... its getting "BoilWash" temps out there!!!

Zanussi

It would have to be very old if it was completely mechanical. Zanussi have been using split tubs and hybrid timers since about 1991!

i'd happily pay £600 for that aeg, but not for the zanussi machine above!

I would happily pay for the Zanussi with the electro mechanical timer than the AEG with the module in it, I would put money on which will blow first!.

I am supprised though I thought since 2005 all the electrolux machines had modules, this must be old stock.

Nice to see they are still selling electro mech timers though.
