This is identical to the first dryer I owned - purchased in the spring of 1977 at Good Housekeeping Stores here in Birmingham. Funny, though, I don't remember it being called a "cloth" dryer.......

This is VERY similar to the GE dryer we bought new in 1979 and still use daily. Has been a great machine, used the matching washer until 1 year ago when the motor went out. Wish I'd known then what I know now...I'd still be using that 25+ year old washer too!!

thats it !

I am working on that exact dryer (& soon the matching washer) at the moment! I was soo suprised when I saw it!
for some reason I don't see this exact model too often.

If yours is identical to this, I think it is fairly rare, because as far as I know, GE only used the yellow and gold paint combination on the console that one year - 1977.
