GE V12 dryer AND a Maytag A107

So I dragged hubby into the big Sally Ann in downtown Montreal last night just for a peek (in case I could snag a better retro dining room fixture) and what do I spot but a GE V12 'clothes conditioning' automatic dryer. It looks like a TOL model - there's a plastic panel on the top of the controls with a light. My folks had a BOL V12 set when I was a brat that we actually couldn't use until we moved to a newer home! The place where we lived had bad plumbing and nightmarish electrics... The one I saw last night is white, overall good shape and oh yeah, it has the foot-pedal opener for the door!
I don't know a lot about the 'Tag models but I guess this one is a late-70's. The control panel is a rough, pebbled white plastic (not lit I venture), the tub is a dark grey and the agitator is turquoise... Some yutz dumped a box of detergent into it, but the tub looked clean and unchipped.
So, I just happened to mention that the V12 would at least be worth saving and you would not believe how pissed hubby got... It was definitely not the time to tell him about the Westy that will soon be on its way from Tampa...
Anyway, forgive the rambling, but it just pains me that I have a couple of cool finds right at my fingertips!!!
If anyone is interested, I am willing to be the go-between to arrange purchase and shipping!!
