I Had a great time and saw so many new and improved products from all around the world.Included amung them were GE's new line of products including some new induction cooktops they're introducing this summer.Sears willalso have them available. The new GE front loading/stackable washer is so like the Duet that the only difference other than the style is perferated wash arms inside.the dispenser tray, the rubber boot, the door seal and tub are all similar. The LG products were breathtaking!they unvailed an entire line of electric ranges with thermal/convection ovens, dishwashers that used less than 5 gallons of water per load and will hold as many dishes as a service for twelve,a new 3.85 cu.ft.capacity washer and 7.5 cu ft matching dryer that can be connected to your laptop computer or PC for easy acces control. There will be a new set available this summer with a washer that has a 4.0 cu ft.capacity and a matching 8 cu ft.capacity dryer.KitchenAid unvailed their new professional front loading Ensemble set in real stainless steel exteriors!!!The washer is 3.8 cu ft and the dryer is 7.5.The washer amnd dryer both have stainless steel drums and the dryer has a lint filter made of steel screening that is horizontal and located just beneath the door opening. It slides forward and is real easy to clean and replace. So much more to talk about. Please email me if you have any questions.I took pictures and will try to send them via cd to the sight.

Venus, I understand these SS KA front loadrs will NOT have the onboard heater. I can't imagine paying that huge price and not having that. Ya might as well go buy SS Mieles or Askos.

Service for 16

toggleswitch's profile picture
If that is "Standard" international place settings-service for 16, I have GOT to see that one. Where are they sticking the dishes?

My sister's new KA stacks them very very close and has removable inserts like a European machine.

Not used to it, cant load it for S%%^! LOL ..and let me tell you I can fit me, you and my momma in there usually!!

I dunno Steve, I guess you & I need to have a dishwasher loading showdown. There are pix of my GSD1200 loaded to the gills somewhere around here--several loads' pix. Mind you, nothing I put in a dw sees a drop of water &may sit for a week) until the machine is turned on. I can pack it "legally" so that everything still comes clean.

Yes, the new LG is able to accommodate the 16 place settings because of the direct drive motor and other innovative features. It's European "design" with "American" dimensions inside & out. It uses the alternating top & bottom spray like the Frigiedaire Precision wash. Go to the LG web site nad you can download the usrs manual and see how they get 16 place settings in.

DACOR 30 inch wide dishwasher. (That's 75 cm folks.) The size of a standard North American oven/range!!

Funny thing is I cant find it on www.dacor.com...

Steve, the 30" Dacor dishwashers were discontinued due to quality issues. Dacor spent a fortune in paying for former owners' redoing kitchens so they didn't have the 30" gaping hole for a 24" dishwasher--you get the drift. Sorry, no contest.
