my kdss-17a arrived today from boston thanks to the U Crate people, here are some pics of it sitting in my yard. i love that stainless tub!

This is like a dream machine! The equivalent would be a reverse rack Maytag with a stainless steel tub. Great catch. If they could still make these today! Who cares about Energy Star rating!! ;-) | ||

OMG! What a beautiful machine! and so rare! We used to have a Hobart undercounter at work that had the same tub and door as the Superba along with the punch-outs for the detergent dispenser and the rinse dispensers; I kept thinking about stealing the thing and Frankensteining it with our KitchenAid parts to make one of these. Nothing prettier than that blue vinyl on stainless.
