For the new film while watching the last episode of "Everybody Loves Raymond", and it looks interesting. Not to give the plot away, but it is NOT a remake of Bewitched per se. According to people who have seen previews of the film, it is what the commercial states. "Darrin" is seeking to remake the hit show "Bewitched" and needs a "Samantha". Little does he know, upon finding his ideal witch, what he is getting; as Nichole Kidman's charcter is the genuine article. Yes, many of Sam's family are in the film. Endora is played by Shirley MacClain, which should be interesting. Some of the flim's plot resembles the first few Bewitched episodes with Sam and Darrin falling in love, Sam having to explain/tell Darrin what she is, her family telling her the mortal will run a mile from her when he finds out the truth, etc. IMHO with the right cast think Bewitched would make a great sitcom again. But for now we must settle for a flim. By the way, has the original Bewitched series made it to DVD? Launderess |

Speaking of Bewitched..as everyone now knows Sam and Darrin had a Flair range...what did his mother and father have at their house? don't ask me, I'm only asking because I saw a rerun the other night where they were over at Darrins parents house and I couldn't make out what was in the kitchen, I'm not that good.

If I ever get to build a house.... (we all usuallly buy "used" here, the land has the value the house itself is only $100 per square foot and indeed, perfectly good homes are bought and knocked down to get the land....) ....I would build Sammy's place! Love that layout. Have seen it in inside and out [in snazzy part of CT that borders NY state] with walls between the living and dining rooms and the loving room and the entryway! BTW... many wealthy New Yokers used to move to CT (still commutable to job in NYC) because even with higher real-estate taxes there was no state income tax. The upper crust saved a bundle! |
