You just cant beat a jet-black washer and dryer for good looks! These appear to be in very nice condition and to have been well cared for - still, perhaps a bit over-priced. Craigslist, Atlanta. Lawrence CLICK HERE TO GO TO pulltostart's LINK on Atlanta Craigslist |

I too fell for this set. Three service calls in 5 months. Called the manager at the store where purchased. Said I got 12 months same as cash and I haven't paid anything on them and have no intention of doing so. They came and took them both. Good riddance. Went back to Sears to look for another set and the salesman pissed me off so I went to a local Mom and Pop shop. Never looked back! MRB |

I didn't say they were any good - just that they are good-looking. I had a pair of these in white that I purchased about 1992, and the washer proved to be a P.O.S. It came with a 3-year bumper-to-bumper warranty and as soon as the warranty expired I sold them. During that 3-year period, Sears was out to my house on a service call once a quarter. That was totally unacceptable. Lawrence |

I had the Last Lady Kenmore electronic in the 80's, trouble, trouble! Then after came this set Limited Edition, I guess Whirlpool thinks people will forget, if it's not a Kenmore or a Whirlpool every couple of years these things hit the sales floor and then they disappear again. Whirlpool would have been luck just making a top loader without electronic controls and just a flourescent lit console. |
