I was just wondering if anyone knows where I could get a silver Hotpoint Aqualtis drawer on-line ?

Unfortunately, my rather rough housekeeper decided to remove the drawer to clean it, not realising that there was a release catch which has to be pressed down. She used brute force, pulled the front off the drawer, smashing one of the clips that holds it together.

It's still working and looks OK but I suspect it will just break after a few more months and I want to source a replacement before it goes out of stock, particularly as it's an unusual colour machine.

I wouldn't say it's a build quality issue, this lady has also broken 3 keys in locks at my house and smashed the lid off a Miele vacuum cleaner by forcing it shut without the bag in place!

I think it's time to think about getting someone else!

I hope she is a bloody good cleaner...

...'cause I would have sacked her the moment she damaged one of my appliances

just found this...

Hi Mr.X,
haven't found the drawer in their site, probably it's rarely sold as a spare part.
Email them if they've it on stock anyway and if they ship to IE

An EDRO three pocket washer would be Terminatoress-proof ;-))

I'll give Hotpoint Ireland a ring!

I will give Hotpoint Ireland a shout on Monday and see if they can find one for me.

They seem to have a spare parts line.

I think I'll have to have a serious talk with her on Monday too. This is really getting ridiculous!

She's operates her own cleaning business, arrives with a van etc. She's just a LITTLE heavy handed to put it mildly. Apparently she was in the military in Poland, it might explain her unorthodox cleaning techniques i.e. she's used to everything being built to withstand military conditions hehe
