I was at my local wood salvage yard today and spotted a Frigidare washer. It was a Horizon 2000 Model WDL-W-O. I'm sure it was one of the first made after GM sold out. The tub was plastic but the agitator was a little unusual in design. Any info on it? sorry i don't have any pics -I got to get a digital cam.

WCI crap! Franklin tranny with different winged agitator. Plastic inner & outer tub with one belt and direct drive pump mounted above the motor. I'd pass! |

I figured it was not worth saving - so to speak and I'm not in a position to purchase it. However at least I may have some place local that might come across some more desirable washers and dryers. Unless I come across a cash crop of machines like the find in the other discussion forum. thanks for the info guys
