Maybe I am behind here,but saw an ad this morning for a new White-Westinghouse washer and dryer at a local chain appliance store-did not know the name had been brought back for major appliances. Tom | ||

Just a Frigidaire I have seen them as well in a couple of places. They are just top load Frigidaire's with a White-Westinghouse nameplate. | ||

How things can be so different... In Australia, Westinghouse has always been popular, but now under Electrolux oversight, Westinghouse is being pushed as a premium brand. WCI was purchased by A.B. Electrolux in 1986, so Westinghouse, Gibson, Frigidaire, etc., are all Electrolux machines. | ||
