It has a cool groove in the lid for your fingers.

Cool Whirlpools, the matched set reminds of the set I bought in 1984, except mine had pushbuttons for the water temp setting, and an automatic lint filter. I like the control from the first washer better. I would like to see a picture of the actual lint filter if it's no trouble. I've never seen that filter, I've only seen the filters from the early 70's. I hated it when Whirlpool changed the handles on the doors to cheap looking plastic one. The chrome looking ones where much more attractive.

Can you shrink them and ship them to me UPS, LOL.

the first washer

That first Whirlpool washer is identical to my BD Whirlpool LFA 5800 washer! This clean, nice-looking washer is making my washer jealous!

That's because it IS an LFA-5800. Super capacity version of LFA-5700, with an additional water level.

The 2nd pair appears to be an LHA/E.

Were these like the ones on the Brady Bunch washing machine overflowing with suds episode?
