I would call GE's Customer Care Center @ (800)626-2000 or go on line to GEappliances.com then give them the model and serial numbers. You'll be surprised how much information they can retreave for you with just those two numbers!Great find!

John I don't know the

exact year of production, but I'm pretty sure it's pre
1960.A friend of my Mother loaned hers too us for a time
in the mid60's and I know it was not real new. That style
continued into the early sixties, with the bowtie, eventually
some cycle options and a boomarang top down feature
in the center of the lid. Nice find, especially with all the
original paper. Put a cup and a half of water in it for
overnight before you power up, make sure the seal(s) aren't
toast! Ours cleaned like a champ!

Just a question.........

Does it have a drying cycle?

That's a beauty, John! Great save! All the original paperwork, too.
I think it's a 1960 model - I've got a '58 with a wood-grain formica top.
These wash surprisingly well for an impeller machine - I am still using mine as the 'pots and pans' dishwasher!

This has been my dream machine for ever. Someday I hope the dishwasher gods smike on me. It could happen. I grew up with this dishwasher & got very good at a young age at filling it to the max. Enjoy Mike
