A free Speed Queen washer in Bremerton, WA.

Is this one old enough to have the overflow rinse?

I'm sort of tempted, but I'm not sure how I'd transport it....

Perforated basket in this washer - from the early 80's.

This is the newer style with the perforated tub, one of the first of the newer style.

Looks like there's a set of these in a local thrift store too. Or, at least the dryer is still there.

For some reason I thought it was older than early 80s...although what I don't know about washing machines would fill several laundry rooms.

I'm still giving thought to this washer. (The ad link still works as I type this. If it fails, the washer looks a lot like the one in Gansky1's post.) However, I'm wondering some things.
-How good is this washer?
-It's being given away because of a leak from "the drum area." Supposedly it's a light leak. How hard is it likely to be to fix? I've some (light) repairs, but I'm not sure I'm quite ready for a "tear it completely to pieces just like it was before it was made at Speed Queen" type repair.

Thanks for any info!
