I suppose I could say I was bored.... but I wasn't. I could say I was feeling creative, partially yes as some could be considered "art like". But it's more that I seem to have "a few" machines that light up, so I wanted to share! So, OK here we go! Starting it all off is an 806 top I picked up recently.

I never knew maytags lit up...just kenmores...
Martin, yes I believe nearly every manufacturers, at one time offered machines with a backlit console or some sort of console light at one point. QSD Dan: Was Maytag the last manufacturer of offer a machine with a backlit console, like my 1980 - 806? I can't remember any others which had lights that late. Here is another shot some of you may have seen before (one of my favorites)....

Very nice Gary, gotta love those tub lights!!!! Steven, no the 806 has already been sold... it's just sitting here awaiting shipment, sorry! Bill, not only is there a couch in that laundry room, there is a 40 (something) or 50" flat panel TV, a juke box and a Frigidaire Flair range, complete with the lift up glass oven doors! | ||
