I just saw a picture in the archives of a '61 Kenmore dryer. It had the standard lint trap at the right rear of the machine. My '61 has the lint bag system, with the door up front and on the left. What's up with that?

Not all the '61s had those lint bags. Our '61 Kenmore 70 dryer had a standard lint screen as well.

Nope! They are just the "custom" models with the standard timers. But what lovely condition they are in. I can't wait to get this pair going!
