Rare? Not around here. These late 80's and early 90's SQ's pop up on C/L pretty regularly.

I think these "Marathon" SQ's were on the "menu", when Sears first became "Brand Central". I know they were in the Sears big book for a while, so i guess they got distributed nationwide. alr2903

#2 claims it was "never used" but the wear on the lip, inside the lid says otherwise. Also check-out the area around the bleach dispenser.

A few years ago, the "Habitat" store in Atlanta must have 20 of 'em for sale----$50.00 each (used, of course).

I have the electronic version with SS tub. Needs paint job and the transmission needs a new shaft seal. Have not the time or space to fix it yet.

Rare? Hardly. I've trashed many of these. Most of them either rusted away or leaking oil or a combo platter of both.

#2 says they never used it, not that it was never used. They bought the set for the dryer. But if they haven't heard it run, I would be wary.

I'm with Runematic, I don't pick them up anymore, because they usually have bearings out.
