I finally got the timer shipped back to me yesterday... UPS had tried to deliver it three times and then threatened to send it back - AAAARGH!! The Canadian offices were closed for the long weekend (Victoria Day here) so I spent a good hour or so trying to speak to a human. Finally, I was able to reschedule the delivery for today and have it delivered to my neighbor's house. They delivered it yesterday... Luckily, he was home. So, the lesson that I have learned here is "Have your vintage parts shipped to your work address"!! Next, I must start the boot and solenoid hunt. Hubby's throat is getting sore from yelling at me about the 'Westy Slant-Face in a million pieces in the bloody garage'. He hasn't noticed how I a moving things around in the basement to accomadate it (and the 63 Frigidaire) yet... |

Robbie, the original model was 11 inches in diameter - I don't know the width I think it is about 3 to 4 inches. If you do find something compatible, find out if you can get 3 or 4 of them. There are a couple of other collectors who need them! Thanks very much and hope you settle in quickly! (just a aside - moving a collection of appliances is no fun - my parnter has made me sign a sworn statement saying that we are NEVER moving again!! lol) |
