This house looks pretty original - 1950's. Looks like there are a few old washer sets. Old refrigerator. Is that a built in Hotpoint stovetop? I can see the buttons and the Hotpoint name.

Stovetop

It sure looks like it, but it appears to only have controls for two burners. I don't know that I've ever seen a built-in with only two burners, other than some of the all-metal kitchen cabinet sets.

Nice!

They even have some of the ugly Pflatzgraph Gourmet Brown that I use as daily dishware.

Check out the coppertone washer-dryer set. See the panel of the dryer over on the left side? Anyone else see Hotpoint Silhouette clues?

That is a Hotpoint Customline two-burner cooktop. GE offered them as well. That's a beautiful Hotpoint 40" range, looks like the griddle is still there!

Cool sale here guys. Those in th Chi-Town area certainly will have fun with this one!

The range is quite stunning - with the combination fridge. The fridge looks to be in the 1949-1951 range. Is it me or is the fridge in the basement and the stove is upstairs - or the other way around? Look at the wall colors.

Yes, that dryer has the tall console of the old Hotpoint/Penncrest machines-----or-----they could also be Norge/Wards.

Would love to drop in on that sale.

Did they HAVE to have those baskets on top?

Too bad the photos don't show the washer and dryer more completely. I would love to have seen the consoles so we could guess as to the make and year. Our first washer was a 1964 Hotpoint Silhouette which I know very little about, and the silhouettes are rare.

Have a good one,
James
