When the energy guide says a machine cost $43 per year based on eight loads a week. Is this a warm wash cold rinse they are using to base this estimate?

They give the with electric hot water heating and gas, does this also include the actual amount of electricity the machine itself consumes while operating?

Not sure how or where to find how the US does it, but you may like to have a read about how we do it.....and it could prove interesting for comparison when you do find the US model
