I have a Speed Queen wringer washer, a 50s model I believe, that we were using up until a couple months ago. It starting leaking underneath; just a slow steady drip, and the tray that is under the wringer came off but the wringer and washer still work. The pump wasn't working when we got it so we were just emptying the water hose by gravity. Machine was usable but obviously needs work. The body is in very good shape for its age with little rust. We are located between Akron and Cleveland if anyone is interested. It's FREE. I hate to see one of these go to the scrap yard. Please contact me at csullivan@ursuline.edu if interested.
